Class Descriptions

 

Cardio - A class designed to raise your heart rate using either a Step, BOSU or Hi-Lo on the floor.

 

Basic Step-The place to be if you're looking to learn the basics of a step class.  Easily progress into other classes from here.

 

Step- A tradtional cardio class utilizing steps ranging from 4" to 10" in height.

 

Cardio Intervals A fast paced mix of Hi-Lo, Step, Zumba and our own "Rhythm Fit", a  kickback from the days of Jazzercize and Gloria Stevens.  Great for newbies as well as anyone looking to up the intensity.

 

Core on the Floor - A slow moving class focusing on core strength,  stability, and muscle toning. Includes flexibility and stretching. 

 

CycloCore - A DVD Core workout by Graeme Street, designed for Cyclists    

 

Weight Training - Strength training in a group utilizing dumb bells, resistance bands, and medicine balls. 

 

BOSU / BOSU Plus - A strength, balance, and conditioning class using the BOSU. BOSU Plus also utilizes optional tools such as free weights, bands, medicine balls, physio balls, and your own body weight.

 

Interval Power Hour-60 minutes of intense cardio including custom choreography

 

Xtreme Step - Step aerobics using advanced, choreographed moves. Perfect for the veteran stepper looking for a challenge.

 

Embodyoga - is a Hatha Yoga practice of internal inquiry through movement. Even within the context of this very serious and ancient practice, laughter and silliness are strongly encouraged.  This class will improve your flexibility, balance and strength.

 

YogEase - Yogease is a mindful hatha bassed class, focusing on restoring body & mind.  Perfect for overtrained athletes as well as folks with limitations from injuries. 

 

Floor Power - Cardio, calisthenics, and endurance on a flat surface utilizing your own body weight for toning. Getting back to basics.

                                                                                               

30/30 - A class consisting of 30 minutes of strength training and 30 minutes of cardio

 

30/15/15 - A class consisting of 30 minutes of cardio, 15 minutes of core and abdominal work, and 15 minutes of stretching and flexibility.

 

45/15 - A class consisting of 45 min of cardio and 15 minutes of core / abdominal with  stretching / flexibility

 

40/20 - A class consisting of 40 min of cardio and 20 minutes of core / abdominal with  stretching / flexibility

 

20/20/20 - A class consisting of 20 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of cardio, and 20 minutes of core / abdominal with stretching / flexibility
