Friday Night Rides are rides put on by TBS that are in general, 14 to 15 MPH and between 20 and 25 miles. We leave from different locations each week so check the website during the week for place of departure. Also, you can check whether the ride is happening or not as they are weather dependent. Wet roads, rainy conditions or the threat of serious weather are all reasons we may cancel at the last minute. I will try and post whether or not the ride will take place or not by 4:00pm. To find out at the last minute, you can always call my cell phone: 413-824-9433.
Unavailability of your ride leaders, (Steve and Becky) will also have an effect on the ride but at least that can be planned on.
HELMETS AND COMMON SENSE REQUIRED ON ALL RIDES. We do adhere to the rules of the road, which I will also post soon.

A few hills, good times and good friends. Join us for this anything but blistering pace ride.
Ride listing (Friday night ride, with a hill thrown in for good measure).
8/22/2008 Essentially the same ride that we did back on June 20th, that is described below, but with a wonderfully fun hill thrown in. Cave Hill. We'll head out of Montague Center at 5:30PM sharp, (the nights are getting shorter) and we'll follow the same route you see below except when we get to the intersection of Route 63 and Route 47, we'll go straight across onto No. Leverett Rd and take a right on Cave Hill Rd. This will intersect with Montague Rd as seen below on the 6/20 cue sheet and we'll continue on the route from there. Should be 25 miles or a wee bit more.
8/15/2008 No official FNR tonight. Beck and I are on our way to Lake Winnipesaukee for the Timberman Triathlon. Stay tuned for next weeks ride.
8/1/2008 Hi all. As Becky and I begin to make our way back to the real world, we'll do it slowly. We thought, what better way than a bike ride with our friends on a Friday night. We'll start at the Sunderland Elementary School Parking lot at 5:45PM. (Yup, 5:45, to make it easier for people to get there on time). We'll be heading south from there, then east, crossing route 116 and then heading to No. Amherst prior to heading back to the start. The ride will be close to 25 miles with a few hills. Unfortunately we have to cross Route 116 but since we're all adults with a good head on our shoulders, I don't expect that will be a problem.
7/25/2008 Depart TBS parking lot at 5:30 to embark on this 25 mile ride. We'll pass the Greenfield Swimming pool and GCC before heading out on Upper Rd Deerfield to Mill Village Rd where we'll head south crossing over to River Rd Deerfield before heading back to Greenfield. 25 miles of beautiful scenery and time with friends. Join us. Text will follow if I can stay up long enough to do it.
25 mile Pool-Upper Rd-Mill etc.
7/11/2008 Depart Unity Park Parking lot in Turners Falls at 5:30PM. Our route will be the 25 mile loop developed for the BHS/FMC September Fundraising Ride. NOTE: The text of this ride shows that we start at the Polish Picnic Grounds. (WE DO NOT!) Tonights ride starts at Unity Park. It's a different starting point than we're going to use on the FMC fundraiser ride on Sept. 20th. We'll complete the same ride tonight, just with a different start. Questions, call Steve at 824-9433
